| The Lester Piggits next race meeting will be held at Lewes, Sussex on 5/6/7/8 July 2007
Roughly speaking this means: Thursday 05/07/07 : (cheap))Seaside hotel in Brighton. Quick canter along the sands to test the mount, Promenade, Ice Cream, Candy Floss, Cider, Chips. Optional swim, sandcastles etc Friday 06/07/07 : Decamp to the Gallops at Lewes. Erect temporary race accommodation, further cantering, perhaps a gallop. Try out a few fences & munch something suitable to make the weigh in. The race course is on the edge of town, so we can easily trot into Lewes to examine the locals. Saturday 07/07/07 : The racing begins. Not sure how many races, or at what time, but definitely several races on the traditional grass circuit with the chance of a run out on one of those fancy new all weather race tracks. Sunday 08/07/07 : Any survivors of the first day/'s racing will be automatically entered into the grand finale challenge cup. |

| In order to compete at this illustrious race meeting you will need to bring a horse. No jockey races without a horse, that would be silly.
You will be provided with a safety riding helmet and a riding crop with which to beat your mount. Or anyone elses mount. Or anything else that requires a little encouragement. Other than that, you will need all the usual stuff - camping equipment, money, money, money, hockey stuff, money etc. £50 entrance fee |
